Purpose of Position

Our Client is looking to hire a Trust Revenue Officer. This position will be responsible for portfolio growth with our Client’s investment clients and leading the sales team. The Trust Revenue Officer will have an entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated progressive sales experience. This key role will be in charge of attracting and developing a sales team to achieve revenue targets.

Essential Job Functions

1.      Achieve portfolio growth in the Bank’s primary institutional investment client markets including Taft-Hartley Funds, foundations, and non-profit organizations.

2.      Ensure the team collectively screens and can articulate holistic client solutions across the full menu of applicable capital market products; ability to articulate and differentiate our Client’s value proposition amidst a fiercely competitive industry.

3.      Actively identify and build relationships with new key potential investment sources. Manage and leverage your existing relationships with institutional, third-party intermediaries and non-taxable funds to source new capital.

4.      Attract, manage, develop and lead a national team of sales and client management professionals, driving client acquisition across segments in line with business strategy and financial objectives.

5.      Manage the Bank’s customer portfolio to achieve margin hurdle rates.

6.      Achieve the Bank’s non-interest income budget targets with institutional Trust customers.

7.      Develop internal and external distribution outlets for our institutional markets’ offerings.

8.      Maintain appropriate servicing levels of Trust customers through management of the Account Management Team and monitoring to evaluate team performance.

9.      Deliver high value solutions to clients, ensuring consistent and comprehensive services to meet client expectations, within parameters.

10.   Act as ambassador for Our Client the market, developing and/or deepening relationships with leading investors.

11.   Develop efficiency improvements for the Investor Relations function of the Trust team.

12.   Lead the development of executable business plans for new product launches.

13.   Perform other duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements

1.      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

2.      Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated sales experience, displaying knowledge of corporate Trust practices and procedures in a Trust, Investment or Banking area including supervisory or lead capability.

3.      Intimate knowledge of Taft-Hartley services and active industry presence.

4.      Outcome-driven with demonstrated creative thinking to realize revenue goals and achievements.

5.      Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and problem solving.

6.      Communication (verbal/written), customer service, detail attentiveness and figure aptitude.

7.      Working knowledge of computer software (MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook).
